Dads4life - Focus on Fathering Week 2009

The Event
Building on the last two years successful events,
Fathering at all stages within the journey of being a dad were acknowledged, from new-born dads to grandfathers, as well as the diverse forms that fathering can take.
Although obviously focused on fathers, with the project title ‘Dad 4 Life’, the events were open to uncles, friends, mentors, coaches and of course Mums and children.
There was something for everyone… because, as the old saying goes, if it takes a village to raise a child, then all men are fathers!!
The Report
We have compiled a comprehensive report on the week, covering background, events, SWOT analysis, media coverage, and summaries of the evaluations of collaborators and participants. The report's extensive appendices are witness to the great success of this week.
